Paul Volle, I have just been diagnosed with AL Amyloidosis, ny treatment should start soon. I am 79 Years old born in Chicago, lived in Italy 45 Years married to an English lady. Now wr live in Englsnd for 10 years. Quite a surprize to hear I had this condition but glad thrte is some sort of a treatment. Many days i feel very wrsk, I habe had Atrial Fibrillation for many years. Glad to be in the group snd gain knowledge.

Hi Paul

Welcome to the group  - although it's a pity you had to join it!  I don't know how much you know about amyloidosis.  There is all sorts of misleading stuff on the internet. If you want to know more you can thrust the NAC website which is full of useful information.  The only other website I trust is Myeloma UK.

I was diagnosed ten years ago and the treatment available now is much better than it was then.
