Leg pain and cramps
« on: June 25, 2021, 12:23:47 pm »
I've got Wild Type Cardiac ATTR Amyloidosis and am experiencing leg pain and cramps at night.  Does anybody else suffer from this and do they have any suggestions?

I have leg pain due to Peripheral Neuropathy caused by AL. This can cause leg pain at any time though so it may be different to your symptoms.
I also get leg cramp at night. I take Quinine Sulphate for this. It does not remove the chance of cramp but I for me it does offer some relief although this is difficult to quantify. There is some debate on the effectiveness of Quinine with some advice saying do not use it. Please note I still get leg cramp.
