Morning All
Not quite amyloid related but after having gone for my mammogram I was told it was all clear but that I had dense breast tissue and asked to go on a trial. I havent responded yet but would like to ask the question if breast denseness is amyloid related and if so, would it show up on any further procedures that Im being offered? I dont want to put myself through further tests for it to be amy related and non amyloid medics not be aware of it!
Hope that makes sense!

Hi Lesley,
Breast amyloid deposits typically show up as discrete asymmetrical findings, sometimes with calcifications, that may mimic cancerous lesions.
I think you can be reassured that the mammogram is all clear, as you were informed.
