Hi I was diagnosed with FMF m694v gene mutation, and suffered with very frequent flare ups over many years. Only this year diagnosed at age 52.
I would like to know if anyone has found if food has triggered sever attacks of FMF.
I have noticed that if eating less sugary foods then my incidents and level of occurrence is greatly reduced. I had thought that food type could not be a trigger for this so I have some curiousity with this as I have been prescribed Colchanine and would much rather avoid taking this if I can control it with food intake instead.
