Title: Message for jan
Post by: Lesley on March 29, 2015, 10:18:45 am
Hi jan

I went to my local Macmillan centre and asked about the carers role. I was told you don't have to be referred by a Dr. If you find yr local Macmillan centre or a central number they will advise you of help they can give to the carer. Please let me know if u get sorted or up there are any questions I can ask for you

Hi Lesley

Sorry for the late reply we've been away to the Isle of Wight for a break. We had a good few days but then Mike started to feel very unwell with a sore throat. It got worse so I took him to the drs. Turns out he's got tonsilitus and is now on anti-biotics again!! He's really taking a kicking this time.

Thanks for asking the Macmillan team about counselling for me, that is so king of you. Mike is registered with our local hospice and they are going to help me, so I'm happier now.  :)

Jan
